The Ukrainian Folk is a Ukrainian-Polish musical group that bases its work on Ukrainian culture. The Ukrainian Folk was established in 1990 in Lviv (previously known as Ruch). Their repertoire includes Ukrainian folk songs in their own arrangements and original compositions. The Ukrainian Folk is a fusion of sounds from stylistically distant worlds. The band combines modern energetic sounds in its music, classic Lviv retro, rock Ukrainian ballads, Hutsul sounds, sharp guitar playing, Ukrainian folk songs, reggae, ska and a bit of contemporary electronics. The band released several albums: Ne zabuwaj, 15 years passed, Mriji, Za Potokom. They have appeared many times on various TV programs and played at many festivals. They have performed around the world in Germany, France, Austria, Great Britain, Canada, the Czech Republic and Ukraine. Everyone will undoubtedly find something for themselves in their music.
