About artist
The Shine Dance & Theater Studio children’s dance group was created in 2025. For many of our young dancers, this was their first step into choreography after arriving in Canada because of the war. At Shine Dance & Theater Studio, children find new friends, a supportive community, and a place where they can do what they love. In 2026, our children’s team participated in a dance championship for the first time and proudly won 2nd place in the Children’s category! Beyond competitions, our children regularly participate in Ukrainian cultural festivals and multicultural community events, proudly sharing and celebrating Ukrainian culture through dance. Our studio is located in Burlington and Hamilton.
