About artist
Sofia and Bogdan Sivkov play Ukrainian traditional wind instruments such as sopilka, sopilka alt, dvodentsivka, telynka, ocarina. Guided by the expertise of Ruslan Kubovych (Toronto) and Maksym Berezhniuk (Kyiv), their music echoes with the rich heritage of Ukraine. Sofia and Bogdan have been performing at festivals and musical contests since 2018. Bogdan finds joy in pursuits ,like chess, coding, and piloting small planes, while Sofia's passions encompass painting, baking, sport shooting, and mastering the art of mapmaking.
