From Winnipeg, Manitoba, this Ukrainian-Canadian Zabava band has become one of the provinces’ most popular Ukrainian party bands. With years of hard work and passion for their culture, the group has had much success. Taking them across North America to play many special events, weddings and festivals. Proudly founded out of baba's basement in 1999 by fiddle player Will Kaye and drummer Matthew Prychun. They publicly established “SLOOHAI” in 2001 when bass player Gord Chubey joined the
