About artist
Odessa Lubinski is a talented Grade 11 student at Fr. John Redmond Catholic Secondary School & Regional Arts Program. She is a passionate vocalist, who proudly celebrates her Ukrainian heritage as an active member of her school’s Choir and Ukrainian Student Club. Odessa was a finalist for Ukrainian Star during the Independence Day concert at Centennial Park. At the age of 12, she recorded Hallelujah, and her music video Nadiya Ye was featured during Ukrainian Heritage Month celebrations, reaching nearly 200 schools of the Toronto Catholic District School Board. She has performed at numerous cultural, community, faith based and civic events as well as in the presence of federal representatives.
In June 2026, Odessa sang the Canadian National Anthem to approximately 700 guests at her Matura Graduation from the Ukrainian Saturday School. She has also performed in honour of His Beatitude Patriarch Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Cardinal Mykola Bychok, Cardinal Thomas Collins and Frank Cardinal Leo. For more than a decade, Odessa has been a member of the Barvinok Ukrainian Dance School, dedicatedly promoting Ukrainian culture, including a performance at Disney in Florida. She is also an active member of Plast and enthusiastically served as a camp counsellor for the first time this year.
Taking every song from the heart to the stage, Odessa strives to inspire, uplift, and create meaningful connections through every performance.
