Midlife Crisis is a vibrant Ukrainian band from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, bringing fresh energy to the rich sounds of Ukrainian music. Formed in late 2024, the group unites musicians with decades of diverse experience—from formal musical training to performances across Ukraine, Europe, Asia, and Canada.
The band’s music is rooted in Ukraine’s many regions, traditions, and musical styles. Through every performance, Midlife Crisis invites audiences to reconnect with their Ukrainian heritage—or experience its richness for the first time. Drawing inspiration from traditional Ukrainian music, classical, jazz, funk, rock, pop, and Latin influences, the band puts its own distinctive spin on familiar and beloved songs. Although Ukrainian music is at the heart of its repertoire, Midlife Crisis also explores music from around the world, performing songs in their original languages whenever possible.
