Based from Toronto, Hloptsi z Mista, or X3M (ex-three-em) for short, is an ambitious Ukrainian zabava band serving the public with a wide repertoire of fast polkas, groovy ballads, and blazing rock. X3M delivers on a sound that is innovative, unique and memorable. Each member brings a wealth of experience which allows them to craft dynamic and enjoyable sets guaranteed to get listeners up off their seats and dancing all night. The band members enjoy taking traditional Ukrainian melodies that they grew up listening to, and adding modern twists to make the songs appealing to younger listeners, while capturing the spirit of the song for older generations to dance to. Building on the success of their debut album Kompakt Dysk in 2021, these Hloptsi have worked hard to release their 2nd album, Kozatskyj Stil, sharing more original music and traditional songs filled with their trademark energy and passion.
