About artist
Celebrating 10 years in Chicago, The Elegy Studio is a performing arts studio that brings together talented young singers and dancers who share a love for music, dance, and the stage. Over the years, our performers have had the honor of sharing the stage with well-known Ukrainian bands, including TNMK, Bez Obmezhen, Trioda, SKAI, Kozak System, Skryabin, and Kalush, as well as renowned artists such as Tina Karol, Dzidzio, Olena Topolia, Alyona Alyona, Anatolii Matviichuk, Taras Petrynenko, Oleh Skrypka, and Mariia Burmaka, among others.
A special part of The Elegy Studio’s journey has been performing internationally, including appearances at festivals in Toronto and Barcelona, Spain. This year, we are very excited to return to the BWV Toronto Ukrainian Festival for the second time.
The Elegy Studio is more than a performing group — it is a creative family where voice, movement, emotion, and heart come together on stage. At this year’s Festival, The Elegy Studio will be represented by our ensembles New Generation, Smile, and Melody, as well as our soloists Victoria Yagirskyy, Tereza Dynka, Anna Andrusiak, Ilona Zymak, and Ksenia Levkovych. The Elegy Studio is led by Lana Polyak and Vita Likhachova.
