About artist
Derrick, a local Torontonian, fell in love with Ukrainian music when he was a groomsman at a Ukrainian wedding. He was so enthralled listening to a song that when it was over, the girl sitting next to him simply smiled and told him, "that was Kvitka". Performing in an acoustic, "unplugged" style, his repertoire of Ukrainian music spans folk classics to modern hits.
