22-year-old Christina Yavdoshnyak is a first generation Ukrainian-American singer-songwriter and composer, born and raised in New York. She holds double bachelor’s degrees in Integrative Neuroscience and Music with concentrations in voice and composition. She has performed on the global stage touring internationally in Ukraine and in cities all throughout the United States. She is a celebrated performer, with awards covering numerous musical styles, including the International Rondo Vanguard Opera Competition. As a composer, Christina creates music across a wide range of genres, including instrumental pieces, pop, folk, and art songs. Her most recent works, “Kolomiyka of War” and “Unsung Lullaby – for a War Across the World,” premiered at the Binghamton University Art Museum this year.
