The Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company of Edmonton, Alberta, is celebrating 55 years! Founded in 1969, Cheremosh has gone through a long creative path of becoming one of the leading Ukrainian dance companies in Canada and internationally, with audience members applauding the talented Cheremosh dancers. Through discipline and determination, Cheremosh has had phenomenal success as a semi-professional Ukrainian dance company. Rich, in intensity, energy, and spirit, Cheremosh takes audiences on a colourful and exhilarating journey, thrilling them with intricate choreography, spectacular costumes and dynamic music. Cheremosh has the privilege of working with artistic director Mykola Kanevets, who has been awarded for his work with the Queen Elizabeth II Dimond Jubilee Medal and the Pavlo Virsky Medal.
