Bohdan Kirieiev is a Ukrainian classical singer (lyric baritone), Ukrainian Viennese Balls soloist (2019-2020), and vocal teacher currently living in
Toronto. He studied classical vocal performance at the R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music and has participated in and won numerous
Ukrainian and international music competitions and festivals, such as the Ukrainian Open Musical Olympiad ‘The Voice of the Country’ in 2017 (1st prize). Bohdan has also performed with the renowned Ukrainian opera diva Olena Hrebeniuk as part of a classical crossover duet from 2019 to 2023. In 2022, he received a national award for recording the anthem of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. Since 2023, Bohdan has been a soloist in the Canadian new opera project ‘Tango For Two’. Additionally, he participates in the BWV Toronto Ukrainian Festival as a singer every year since 2023 and is also an accomplished singer-songwriter. Bohdan has performed in concerts across Canada, including Ottawa, Montreal, and the Greater Toronto Area.
