About artist
Aleksey, now 17, has been passionate about music and singing since early childhood. Aleksey is attending Grade 12 at the St. Michael Choir Catholic School for Boys and has participated in numerous choir performances with his school, representing Canada in the UK, the United States, and provincially.
Aleksey and his choir perform at masses every weekend at St. Michael’s Catholic Church and annually at Massey Hall with the entire St. Michael Choir Catholic School. Over two years ago, Aleksey joined Inesa Bratushchyk's vocal school and immediately fell in love with Ukrainian songs. As a student of Inesa Bratushchyk’s vocal school, Aleksey has participated in numerous Ukrainian local concerts and community events, represented Canada at the Ukrainian Cultural Festival in Barcelona, Spain, in 2024, and represented Canada at the Ukrainian Vocal and Dance Competition Festival “Світ у Твоїх Долонях” in Greece this year, winning the Grand Prix for vocal performance and many more.
