About artist
Olena Bielousova is an Honored Artist of Ukraine, a soloist with the Mykolaiv Regional Philharmonic, and a laureate of Ukrainian and international festivals in Europe and North America.
She has significant professional and teaching experience in vocal arts. She is an instructor of choral disciplines and voice training at the Mykolaiv Professional College of Culture and Arts and has served as the artistic director of the song and dance ensemble “Chornomortsi.”
Throughout her artistic career, she has represented Ukrainian vocal art and traditional Ukrainian song at international cultural and diplomatic events across Europe, including at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and at the United Nations Office at Geneva, as well as at official events hosted by Ukrainian diplomatic missions. She has been honored with the “World Order of Cultural Diplomacy” distinction.
Today, she continues her artistic work in Ukraine, Europe and North America, representing Ukrainian song and culture at international festivals and cultural events. She is a lead vocalist of the Ukrainian-Canadian ethno-folk group “Kozak Sisters” (Toronto).
