Anna Mariya Kowalczyk is an accomplished 11-year-old Canadian pianist whose exceptional musical achievements have earned recognition at festivals and competitions across Ontario and beyond. She began studying piano in 2022 and has completed RCM Level 10 Piano with First Class Honours, while continuing to prepare for her ARCT Performer Diploma. From 2023 to 2026, Anna Mariya has received numerous First Place awards at regional music competitions and festivals in Peel, York, and Guelph. In 2026, she was selected to compete at the Provincial level with her ARCT repertoire. Anna Mariya has had the opportunity to perform in Rome, Assisi and Roccaporena, Italy, as well as in Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City, gaining valuable experience performing for audiences in diverse cultural settings. A passionate piano performer, Anna Mariya has studied with distinguished teachers and participated in masterclasses with accomplished musicians. Her musicianship has also been enriched through chamber music collaborations with renowned artists and professional musicians. She has developed a particular love for the music of Frédéric Chopin and Ukrainian composer Viktor Kosenko, while exploring a wide range of classical repertoire. At the Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival, Anna Mariya will perform works by Frédéric Chopin, Viktor Kosenko, Isaac Albéniz, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, bringing together Polish, Ukrainian, Spanish, and Austrian musical traditions in a celebration of music, culture, and artistic excellence.
