Suzirya Ukrainian Dance Ensemble is a youth dance group based in Barrie, Ontario, operating under UNF Barrie-Simcoe and led by Nataliia Savilova. Founded two years ago, the ensemble brings together young dancers who share a love for Ukrainian dance, culture, and traditions. Suzirya actively participates in multicultural festivals, community celebrations, and cultural events throughout the region. Through vibrant traditional costumes and energetic Ukrainian folk dances, our young performers proudly represent and share Ukrainian culture with diverse audiences.
At Suzirya, we believe that dance is an important way for the younger generation to stay connected to their Ukrainian roots, preserve cultural traditions, and build a strong sense of community.
