Founded in 1978 in New York City by visionary master teacher and choreographer Roma Pryma Bohachevsky, the Syzokryli Ukrainian Dance Ensemble is a premier force in traditional and contemporary Ukrainian dance. Rooted in the rich cultural legacy cultivated at New York's Soyuzivka Heritage Center where dancers from across North America flocked to study the company preserves authentic heritage while expanding the artistic boundaries of Ukrainian folk dance through innovative, world-class choreography.
