The Toronto Ukrainian
Festival Committee welcomes interested vendors to the 14th
annual Toronto Ukrainian Festival. The Festival has
grown significantly over the past 14 years, attracting
over 400,000 attendees.
This year's dates are:
Friday September 17th, Saturday September 18th,
and Sunday September 19th.
In order to achieve an even
balance of vendors, exhibits, entertainment, food, etc.
throughout the street, the Vendor area is limited to a
certain size. There is a limit of a maximum of 50 vendor
and Kiosk spots in the “Yarmarok” Marketplace Area. Make
sure you send in your completed registration form, along
with your payment, as soon as possible in order to
ensure your spot.

NOTE: Vendor applications of 2010 are no longer being
accepted. Thank you for your interest.
City Rules for Vendors
The Municipal Licensing and
Standards Office have set requirements for Vendors
selling goods.
All vendors that are selling
require a Vendor Permit.The Municipal Standards Officers
will be patrolling the Festival Site. All Food Vendors
must attend a Toronto Public Health seminar with time
and place to be announced.
Mandatory Vendor Hours
Friday September 17th
5pm- midnight
Saturday September 18th
9am- midnight
Sunday September 19th
11am- 7pm
Early Departures or late
set-ups are disruptive and present a safety hazard to
the public and a security issue.
Vendor Registration
and Set-up Times
You will be required to
register before entering your site. Registration will
occur Friday afternoon.
Registration location, as
well as vehicle unloading information will be provided
closer to Festival dates.
The vendor set-up times are:
Friday September 17th
2pm-4pm
Saturday September 18th
8am-8:30am
Sunday September 19th
10am-10:30am
Please NOTE that you will
not be allowed to drive onto the street outside these
times, especially on Friday.
If you are taking down your
booth before the end of the Festival, because
Fire Trucks and Ambulance and
Emergency services need a
clear path, you WILL NOT be allowed to drive onto
the street.
Overnight
Although we will have
security patrolling the Festival site during the night,
we are not responsible for loss and strongly recommend
that you DO NOT leave any of your goods on the street
overnight.
Parking
The Private Festival Parking
lot is located North of Bloor St at the Armadale St.
entrance only.
We are able to make
available 3-day parking passes for $40 per parking spot.
Please note that only one pass is made available to each
vendor. If you require more than one spot because of
trailers etc. please pay the extra fee for additional
spots. Your license plate number will be needed so it
can be entered on your parking pass or you will be
towed.
Vendor
Responsibilities
All vendors are responsible
for bringing own WATER.
All vendors are responsible
for keeping their areas clean.
All vendors are responsible
for providing their own table coverings as well as
decorations and equipment.
All vendors are responsible
for providing their own electrical extension cords.
All vendors are responsible
for cleaning kiosk area before leaving.
Consumption of alcohol is
not permitted within your kiosk
Kiosk Site Locations
Vendor spots will be
assigned by the Festival Committee on a “first come,
first served” basis, once the completed registration
form and full payment is received and approved by the
Festival Committee.
Confirmations
Please allow for appropriate
time for your application to be reviewed. Confirmation
of acceptance will be sent.
Vendor must send completed
registration form and payment in full.
Those leaving a mess or not
complying with the General Terms and Conditions will not
be eligible to
return to future Festival
events.
